Old Post Cards
Oh no! It's been a month since I posted anything and the Christmas lights are still up.
I've been working on a design for a new blog header but haven't been happy with any of my attempts. It will be done one of these days.
Here are some old postcards from my collection. The first card was purchased last summer from a coin shop in Granada Hills (next to a good Persian restaurant!) It was mailed to a Mrs. Benjamin of Los Angeles back in August of 1929. The second card was purchased with a lot of other postcards back in the 1980s. I'm not sure how old it is but the printing looks similar to the other card so it's probably from around the same time.

The Old Man of the Mountain, still New Hampshire's symbol, collapsed a few years ago. I got to see it with my family when I was a kid. I even have a photo of my father standing next to a directional sign pointing to "Old Man"...
